Mold Removal Questions

Below are a a few mold removal questions which we are asked on a frequent basis. If you do not find the answer you seek below, please contact us here »

Simply put, what is Bactronix?

A: Bactronix is a microbial control company, specializing in treatments against bacteria, viruses, mold, mildew, and odors in your home or business.

Are you a local company or a franchise?

A: Yes and yes. Our company got its start in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and it is there that we took notice of the company’s success in helping the Pittsburgh area improve its way of life with the impactful and eco-friendly methods that only Bactronix possesses. We are locally owned and operated in Myrtle Beach and knew that we needed to bring these fantastic resources to help our highly susceptible area get healthier.

What is the Bactronizing Process?

A: The Bactronizing Process is a patented treatment process that cleans, disinfects, and protects surfaces against harmful bacteria, viruses, mold, mildew and odors.

Do I even need to Bactronize my office or home?

A: Our environment is full of harmful and sometimes deadly microorganisms. There are daily news reports of microbes lasting longer, becoming harder to eliminate and making people sicker. The Bactronizing Process has been proven to eliminate the world’s worst microbes including MRSA, C-Diff, VRE, various forms of the flu and many other dangerous microbes.

How does it work?

A: We have some super smart people that developed some super smart stuff that kills the bad stuff. But if you want to get technical, the Bactronizing Process applies products that create a surface friction, penetrating the biofilm. The biofilm weakens then ruptures allowing our products to infiltrate the cell environment and kill the organism.

Is this process safe for my employees, customers and family?

A: The Bactronizing Process is a green, non-toxic and safe method for killing harmful pathogens. The products are EPA registered and have the lowest possible hazard rating from the EPA.

How long does this take?

A:  To Bactronize an average 1500 square foot home takes about 3 hours. You don’t even need to leave your home or business while we operate. We just ask that you not be in the same area as our technician during the Bactronizing Process.

Will you tell me if I even need this?

A: We would love to come to your home or office and test your home for mold!
